Password reset

Forgot your password? Request a reset link by email and choose a new one. If you've set up an authenticator app, you'll also confirm a code before the password changes — so a stolen inbox alone can't take over your account.

What you can do

  • Request a password reset link from the login page.
  • Set a new password using the link sent to your email.
  • Confirm an authenticator code (or a recovery code) when two-factor authentication is enabled.

How to use it

  1. On the login page, click Forgot password?.
  2. Enter your email address and submit — we send a reset link to that address.
  3. Open the email and click the link. Enter your new password and confirm it.
  4. If your account has an authenticator app set up, you'll be asked for the current code. Enter the 6-digit code from your app and submit.
  5. Your password is updated and you can log in with it.

Lost your authenticator device? Enter one of your recovery codes instead of the 6-digit code. Each recovery code works once.

The reset link is single-use and expires after a short time. If it stops working, just request a new one.

Authenticator setup and recovery codes are covered in Multi-factor authentication.
